For the playoffs, Ezekiel Elliott wore a custom pair of Nike Foamposite cleats. These cleats are clearly inspired by one of the most iconic pairs of kicks ever, the Nike Foamposite One. Zeke and some of the other big-name Nike athletes got these in last week and they look incredible. The pair Zeke has was white and black, but he got it colorswapped (by @_jadafromtheblock) to blue.
For these foamposite cleats, it looks like Nike took the original Foamposite silhouette, slimmed it down, and added the Nike Vapor Carbon traction plate from 2018. There’s no doubt the cleat looks amazing but I am curious to hear how they are from a performance perspective. The Foamposite One is known to be a heavier shoe but maybe the Nike team was able to drop some of that weight while keeping the iconic look. Check out Nike’s post on them here.
Unfortunately, these Nike Foamposite (Vaporposite) cleats were only seeded to Nike athletes and are not available to the public (as of now).
